Executive Summary:

Ready to Empower Nonprofit aims to develop a comprehensive donor engagement strategy to strengthen relationships with existing donors, attract new donors, and increase overall contributions. This project will leverage personalized communication, digital tools, and targeted events to enhance donor experience and commitment.

We would like to collaborate with students to develop a plan to increase donor engagement.

The project objectives are listed below:

1. Increase Donor Retention: Improve donor retention rate by leveraging our donor database and understanding how to retain donors. 
2. Expand Donor Base: Attract 50 new donors that can include Corporate donors through targeted campaigns and outreach.
3. Enhance Donor Experience: Implement personalized communication strategies to make donors feel valued and appreciated.
4. Boost Fundraising Revenue: Increase overall donations by 30% by the end of the project period.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

• Familiarizing themselves with our mission, values and goals.
• Familiarizing themselves with our past fundraising activities and donors.

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

• Understanding of our mission, values and goals

Donor segmentation and research steps include:

• Segment current donor database based on donation history, engagement level, and interests.
• Create a corporate donor strategy to attract more corporate donors
• Create a matching donor strategy to help generate more revenue 
• Conduct surveys and focus groups to understand donor motivations and preferences.
